Dr Gil Fandino is a faculty member in the Textile Department at UT Austin. She was introduced to us by Dr Korgel early on. She do lot of work in textiles and advises a lot of organization who are part of the entrepreneurship ecosystem. She teaches multiple classes in the textile department. She was a big resource for us in our research and studying different materials. She helped create the vision we have for our product.

Dr Gil Fandino teaches textile science classes and recently was awarded a grant to develop a sustainable textiles and materials course open to all majors. At the heart of her research and teaching is creating a sustainable mindset within students and always questioning the environmental footprint and ecological impact of the products we interact with every day.
