Such a simple resource can have such a drastic effect on the outcome of a girl’s life.
It is not understood how access to a menstrual pad provides her with so many opportunities.
How it educates her.
How it educates not only her, but also the women and girls after her and around her.
How it gives them ALL a chance.
How it significantly lowers her chances of dropping out of school earlier.
How that, in turn lowers her chances of being given away for marriage earlier.
Which in turn lowers her chances of giving birth earlier.
Which in turn reduces maternal mortality rates infant mortality rates and child mortality rates.
A simple PAD can do this!
It lowers her chances of acquiring infection and disease.
It gives her a chance to experience being a child.
It breaks the cycle of women living to die,
Rather, it provides her the opportunity
…….to truly live and thrive.
